How can I use this with the official angular component of FullCalendar?

I don't have any experience with Angular, unfortunately, but I expect that you can use the FullCalendar component just as you would without the year view. Just load the year view as a plugin then and add it to calendarPlugins. You will then have to add the 'year' button to the header bar.
