Is this a new component or an extension of an existing one?
Currently, we use delete modals in various places across the UI. To enhance consistency, Katie Edwards has created a content document that outlines three main delete modal patterns applicable to most use cases in our product.
Describe the feature
A delete modal is a user interface element that prompts users to confirm the deletion of an item. It typically includes a message asking for confirmation, options to proceed with the deletion or cancel the action, and may display relevant details about the item being deleted.
Are there visuals for this feature? If applicable, please include examples for each state and for varying widths
The design guidelines for these delete modal patterns are still in progress and may include additional updates. In the spirit of agile iteration, we can begin with the existing content guideline document (linked above) and the patterns described within it. Once the design guidelines are finalized, we can update and refine the UI modals as needed.
You can find visual examples in the same content document.
