I have a pretty cool setup for YouTube, I'll show
Screenshot (19)

The external comments is an extension that looks for reddit posts that lists the video here
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/reddit-comments-for-youtu/eeoojlakofhogpkplghnmcljbcjdobbo

You can collapse them like this

Then I always have comments on sidebar. This is one of the best addons that does this. makes so much more sense to have it on sidebar.

I used the addon 'Improve YouTube!' (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bnomihfieiccainjcjblhegjgglakjdd)

Go into Appearance, comments then click on sidebar.

Now the reddit comments are supposed to be under the player, but 'Improve YouTube!' picks this up and places it on the side bar. YCS is not being picked up and still is placed under the player like here

Is there anything you could do so it works like the reddit messages extension, so 'Improve YouTube!' picks it up and places it on the sidebar also? also another request I'd like to ask is if we can have a little toggle like 'Reddit comments' to hide the YCS stuff, that would be awesome. TYIA

I have created some tamper-monkey scripts that enhance the YCS for me
one of them is a minimize button

It doesn't look as sharp, but it works like a charm :D

@Letssharearow I just "greased" my install up with your code again, thanks for that, should come in handy to have a shrink option.

I hope you find it useful, I haven't used it ever actually, lol
But Im fixing a "bug" (more like a lazyness) rn, since I saw somebody comment on the script on greasyfork
