Thanks for the feedback!
See the README. Sushitrain is the name for the project, Synctrain is the name for the app as published in the App Store due to the former being unavailable there.
Good idea. The extra screen is not going away though as it provides more information to support the user in making a correct decision (i.e. showing how many other peers have a file, in the future possibly also which peers).
That's not really a common UI idiom on either macOS or iOS. Swiping the rows was suggested earlier, that may be a better idea.
You mean the menu contains these actions or what exactly?
This is already possible when adding a folder. |

I like that swiping idea a lot ! Much quicker and more natural than going through the three dots menu |

hi. not sure if I'm writing in a right place, as I'm currently testing Synctrain, not Sushitrain, but...
while I love the attempt to mimic on-demand file sync and initial impression is great, there are few things I'd love to suggest, to make operations easier.
the listing of a folder could have a filter to show
all / all synced / not synced content
, plus that pin to remove a local download. this would eliminate the ENTIRE separate screen to mange it now. Or even a better alternative to sync subfolders and files: use the folder and file icons as buttons to trigger syncing or local removal. that way you can get rid of the pin icon as well (and you use different icons to show synced files and folders already)the tray icon could have a default action like browsing files or opening a real location
setting a location for a new folder would be great as default ones are nested deep inside Library
