Live USB: Please don't probe existing partitions until user proceeds to install wizard pages

While reviewing logs collected from a Pop!_OS live USB environment (pop-os_22.04_amd64_intel_42.iso), it caught my attention to see that despite selecting "Try Demo Mode" and not proceeding to the installation wizard pages, the Pop!_OS live USB

• automatically mounted all my existing partitions read-write,
• probed their contents, and
• logged lists of my personal files, in messages of the form

pop-os io.elementary.installer.desktop[2935]: [INFO distinst:crates/os-detect/src/lib.rs:71] Found "/tmp/distinst.XXXXXXXXXXXX/..."

where XXXXXXX are random alphanumeric characters and ... is name of a file or folder.

Most of my use of Pop!_OS live USB is recovery environment or temporary clean environment. In these cases, this automatic probing is undesirable and can add complications in the task the live environment is being used for.

Could the Pop!_OS live USB please not perform automatic mounting or probing of partitions when user selects "Try Demo Mode"?
