[Bug] Can't select BetterX generator on world creation

What happened?

When building the mod from source, the BetterX generator can't be selected.
When force_betterx_world_type is enabled in client.json, the World Type button on the world generation screen is just grayed out, when force_betterx_world_type is disabled, the only options are the vanilla options.
