RockPi 5b no video output if using HDMI to DVI connector #35

If using HDMI to DVI cable I don't get any video output on boot I need to replug after boot to get video output.
This holds for both HDMI ports.

same for RockPi 4b+ on 5.10.110-6-rockchip
for raspi I think its the hdmi_hotplug=1 setting but im not sure if the rockpi has this? I found another post someone had to change the kernel versions... but I am still trying to figure out how to get it to work, have you @JanKehren found solution?
