NEWEST EDIT:

I've completed the Treasury half of the Dune dashboard and ran out of Dune credits, so would be very great if I could get paid the first tranche payment of $1250 to my wallet ASAP so I can continue the work 0xF025B4AC25D5DC1FfD77B099a31ddc269D55c039

Summary

We have a lot of on-chain data that can be leveraged in modern ways such as building out a visually appealing Dune dashboard, as opposed to just doing accounting on a private Excel sheet.

Why should we build this?

By building out a Dune dashboard not only do we gain insights into our DAO, but we also let others discover and gain insights about RaidGuild.

Cool thing about Dune is that your queries run automatically so the data stays up to date without much oversight.

Anything else you'd like to add?

I've already begun gathering treasury stats (data from last 2 treasury addresses): https://dune.com/sunsakis/raidguild

Other data that I'm interested in (and you should be, too): members, votes, proposals, most active addresses, portfolio...

Raid Party Skills Needed

  • Ancient Dwarf who guards the treasury should sometimes consult me regarding historical data
  • Old-timers who have important insights should let me know about datasets they deem valuable

Cost (in USD)

$2500

Pay released in two installments for delivering each of the following 2 query topics visualized on the dashboard:

  • Members (most active, raider growth, voting power, proposal quantity)
  • Treasury (token portfolio, monthly revenues, ragequittable vs non-ragequittable, stable vs non-stable treasury ratio)

Please add any on-chain data you want to see on the dashboard in the comments

I like the idea here and the budget seems reasonable. I think it would be nice to add more details to the deliverables, just so we can get a clear definition of done. Also, it isn't normal to get funds up front in this manner, but usually we will pay by milestone and can put funds in escrow if you wish.

Appreciate the insight @plor - updated the proposal. Do mention any additional data you want to see. Let the data flow

Awesome, thanks for updating. A few ideas for the data that would be interesting to see.

  • Members

    • Total number
    • Active in previous 6 months (votes or signalling?)
    • Active by attendance (using Character Sheets XP)
    • Cohort member activity (retention especially)
  • Treasury

    • Ragequitable vs non-ragequittable
    • Cookie Jar activity (pending true cookie jar)
    • $RAID price and volume
    • Stable vs non-stable treasury ratio

Thoughts on the viability and maintainability of some of these?

Regarding members, total number and last 6 month activity will definitely include, as well as who made the most proposals and voted the most. As for active by attendance (using Character Sheets XP) and Cohort member activity & retention, so long as it's recorded on-chain, I can write a query to pull it up daily/weekly.

Your suggestions regarding the treasury are all solid and viable, I shall include them.

@plor can you help guide @sunsakis to the competition of the first milestone and move the payment to be released for work done

Which of these is it? These seem conflicting to me.
