Dear supervisors,

I started to make a poster for the SARAO Conference and I would like to have your opinion about it, concerning on if is something missing, if I have to remove something and so on. You can access the poster here: https://www.overleaf.com/project/636a7d87d2a65a6252f79f98

Hi @Victoria-Samboco, I have uploaded an annotated version with some comments here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sKcZP0xNLi4KpHUxre7rxneOqSaLGmIC/view?usp=sharing

Please let me know if you have trouble accessing it. Overall I think the poster is in excellent shape. Don't worry about the large number of annotations, a lot of them are just typographical. If anything is not clear then please let me know.

Robert has also made a lot of contributions to this work, so I would also suggest adding @Kincaidr to the poster.

Good work! Cheers.

I read this short booklet about science goals with SKA: https://www.swissilo.ch/images/ska/CH_Whitepaper_SKA_2019.pdf
You can read the Solar physics section which might find interesting regarding possible science you can do after the pipeline, which you might want to add to your poster under Scientific value of the project ... section.

Here are some edits you can make:

1.) Figure 3 in which ian has said:
There is a lot of dead space in this figure due to the square image and the rectangular frame

If you can eliminate this space, see if you can fit both the pre-phase-shift L-band image of J033-2741 and UHF-band of J033230 side-by-side in Figure 3. Currently, you are only showing the L-band image. Since you are showing sun images for both fields, it would make sense to include the 2nd UHF pre-phase-shift image here too.

2.) Wsclean reference. This is taking up a lot of unecessary space. Try using this instead:

@article{offringa2014wsclean,
  title={WSCLEAN: an implementation of a fast, generic wide-field imager for radio astronomy},
  author={Offringa, AR and McKinley, Benjamin and Hurley-Walker, Natasha and Briggs, FH and Wayth, RB and Kaplan, DL and Bell, ME and Feng, Lu and Neben, AR and Hughes, JD and others},
  journal={Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society},
  volume={444},
  number={1},
  pages={606--619},
  year={2014},
  publisher={The Royal Astronomical Society}
}

This will allow it to mention the 3 main authors and et al. for rest.

SARAO_poster.pdf https://drive.google.com/file/d/10o-dfpXPHAo5chMjfjsJzRRtvd14BMUX/view?usp=drive_web Hi all Here is the actual poster. I had to reduce the size of images because I'm struggling with space, even the references are not fitting well on the Poster. I don't really like the size of the images right now, but there doesn't seem to be any other option, other than maybe reducing references or some part of the text, but that doesn't seem like the best option either. Please let me know if I missed something. On Sun, Nov 13, 2022 at 8:42 PM Victoria Samboco @.> wrote:

I've already solved the problem with space.

This is the last version of the poster that I already took to print on the printer, since the last one some things have been modified, including the most recent version, the orientation of the poster from landscape to portrait as recommended by the conference organization.

Here is also the one slide presentation for poster marketing.
