templates directory
The license files in the "template" directory or directories are intended as templates, and that the actual repository is licensed according to the licensing information at top level.
*.md symbolic linked files, are included specifically by the doxygen configuration and required to ensure the doxygen HTML output contains all the required (c) notices, and license files.
