Request: Extend documentation to explain how to change the volume

I've built multiple satellites but haven't figured out yet how to persistently reduce their playback volume. By default, it's close to the maximum the speakers seem to be able to handle.

I tried pretty much all the audio device's controls in alsamixer but to no effect. The volume doesn't change.

I believe you're looking for the paremeter "--snd-volume-multiplier X", where for me X is 0.1 currently and I find that loud enough, as 0.2 was too loud, but that will depend on your speaker.
