\editable inside MathLabel not working correctly

It is possible to have some Inputboxes inside a MathLabel by using the \editable command of MathQuill. (see http://mathquill.com/demo.html , "LaTeX math can also have textboxes inside: ..." )
However, when I use these InputBoxes with MathLabel, then I can not read out text exited by the user correctly with getValue(). getValue() gives back the value first assigned to the MathLabel by the server, and not the edited value by the user.
