Just started using this with a new LG account, but no errors and no devices unfortunately. Took some digging but finally found this issue and the one on wideq. Hope the PR gets in good shape and can soon be merged. Think it is good to track this here too, so other users can easily find this.

What was the issue you found and how did you fix it?

So is it supported by wideq Now?

New LG devices use V2 API, but it is not supported by hass-smartthinq yet.
Only working solution so far is https://github.com/tinkerborg/thinq2-python
But it is just a script and cannot be integrated to HASS yet. At least my skillset is limited for that.
Trying to do myself but still have long way to go. Will share the details if I get some where with it.

Oops, missed @gmusser reply as well, sorry. No, I was not able to fix the issue, I just found this exact issue (so this ^^ one).
I did get one of the wideq forks to output a large dataset with my devices, but that doesn't work with this integration yet. More info here: sampsyo/wideq#117
