Use of vendored package not allowed #17

When attempting to install dependencies using go get . three third-party packages produce the error use of vendored package not allowed.

I believe this became a problem since Go v1.13, so it seems this demo in its present form can't be used for versions after 1.12. Is there a way around this, or are there any plans to update the demo to a new working version?
