Hi,

I propose some ideas to improve history tabs for hosts and services:

  • Filter by type of notification (display only Critical, Warning, UNKNOWN, OK , ....)
  • Select date range, display the history between two dates.
  • For hosts: filter by service
  • Add background-color for type of event (ex: critical= red: OK =green; see here)

I think it's possible to do this with DataTables plugin: here

Thx

Hi,

Why not. The history tab is more a proof of concept than a really elaborate view. There is a lot of space for improvements.

I don't use this view myself (because I have all the alerts in an IRC chat, which plays the same role), so I will not spend time to make these adjustments. But feel free to develop them and propose a pull request.

Thanks,

I know very well the datatables plugin and I made some tests with it for the WebUI ... I planned to integrate this in a next version.

Hi,

@mohierf it seems you did work on this in march. I saw a lot of new code in logs.py. Did you finish what you started? I don't find any news in the interface.
