This modpack cannot be launched with the newest Java 8 Version, as the Constructor method of sun.security.util.ManifestEntryVerifier has changed signature, breaking all binary compatibility with code compiled against the old versions. See https://stackoverflow.com/a/70911091 for more info. PR #489 fixes this.

I recommend Forge version 36.2.34, as it is the most stable at the moment.
