Currently, all linkTypes are always visible in the Link Editor. I know that is meant more or less a drop-in replacement for the Link Editor, but the original is already hard to use. It would be a massive advantage if the tabs could be unset or disabled. That way the editor could be used for an external link, internal link, phone number etc. only.

... but isnt this possible already?

Well i think its currently undocumented, and only findable in the source code how the editors are named:

  • Sitegeist.Archaeopteryx:Asset (Asset)
  • Sitegeist.Archaeopteryx:MailTo (Mail to)
  • Sitegeist.Archaeopteryx:Node (Document)
  • Sitegeist.Archaeopteryx:PhoneNumber (Phone Number)
  • Sitegeist.Archaeopteryx:Web (Web)

All link types are documented before that block. So I think there is nothing to do here (in theory). For a better overview you could add all link types in the linked section, but IMO this is not required.

Thanks for your feedback, you are right indeed. To make the readme a bit more user-friendly, I created a PR: #51
