When I startup Sublime Merge I always wonder where my new stuff is (on the remote branch) because I have auto-fetching turned on in the preferences. Then I realize that fetching doesn't happen on starup, only x minutes after startup and then every x minutes again after that.
Preferred solution
Whatever number you enter (as long as it's a number, meaning you want auto-fetching), Sublime Merge auto-fetches immediately on startup. For all open tabs? (Would slow down startup?) For just the current tab? (A radio button for that choice.)
Perhaps if you enter 0 it only auto-fetches on startup. (Unless 0 already turns it off?)
Alternatives
Of course I could always hit the pull button but that's just too much. ; )
Maybe just a checkbox for this in case people don't want it.
Screenshots
No screenshots, but thanks for this incredible Git GUI !
