Status message covered by loading bar while cloning

Description

During a checkout the text is rendered behind the loading bar, making it impossible to read.

Steps to reproduce
On a system connecting to a git provider for the first timer ever (triggering #1924).

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Clone repository ...
2. Fill in the fields
3. Click on Clone

Now the loading bar is rendered over the text (see screenshot).

Expected behavior

I would expect the message rendered some place else so it would be readable.

Debug Information

Unfortunately, getting debug information does not work in this state. The menu simply disappears when clicked and nothing was added to the clipboard.
