[BUG] Taiga > Slack integration not working #7
Comments
Facing the same issue, using the official (not self-hosted) instance of Taiga. |
I am self hosting it, and for whatever reason, the ‘super admin’ account activities don’t trigger Slack notification. Try inviting a test team member to your instance and make some changes (update an issue, change an issue or comment in the issue). That is absolutely fine for me as a super admin. could you try this and see if that works? |
@bigbeka thanks for pointing it out! Indeed, making any action by a non-admin user seems to be triggering the notification. It still seems like a bug to me. |
@yujinio or it’s a feature? I could see that super admin could just have an account and then you can create additional admin accounts. By the way, I haven’t heard from the developers about this issue. |
@bigbeka If it's a feature, then it is a non-documented feature as it's not that obvious that slack notifications don't get triggered by super admin actions. |
@yujinio I meant more like: “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” 😅 |
I have integrated Slack into Taiga following 30min setup and Slack Integration.
When I click on “Test” in Settings > Plugins > Slack, I receive the “Test” notification from my Taiga instance on the chosen slack channel.
Other than Test message, nothing else is being sent to Slack.
I have also tested the Webhook feature, Taiga sends Create, Update and Delete information to the Webhook of my choice with no issue.
How do I troubleshoot the Slack Plugin on Taiga further?
