Thanks for the package!

1, Is there a param that I can control the product size ?
2, How can I get the candidate primers position ?
3, Is it necessary to check dimer/hairpin or other specific structure after primer_design ?
4, Is there a param that users can design degenerate primers ?

Hello joybio,
Thanks for your questions!

  1. No, this has not been implemented in prider. The reason is that with complex sequence pools the product size may differ for individual sequences in the input sequence pool.
  2. This needs to be checked separately for each sequence match. The reason is similar as above: the position might differ for individual sequences in the input sequence pool.
  3. This is a good practice and several 3rd party tools exist for this, for instance https://primer3.org/.
  4. Currently not.

Your title seems to indicate that some functions do not work. Could you kindly let us know of the specifics?

Thanks for the reply!
I have figured it out, all functions work well.
