Trying to run on this on Ubuntu 18. I have a default.yml sitting in my configuration file and I get the same error if I use a specific config.
$chameleon create_replica_schema --debug **FATAL - configuration file missing. Please ensure the file /home/someuser/.pg_chameleon/configuration//default.yml is present.
Note the extra forward slash in front of default.yml.
