On startup the logger should verify access to the lookup tables that are configured. If they can't be read (or don't exist etc) then the logger should fail gracefully with an informative message.

Currently the device records the raw values, which is fairly nice, but the logs are horrendously spammed with exceptions.

Also what should happen if a LUT is deleted while the logger is running?
