[plantviz] Visualisations of dynamic/growing patches

As a researcher, I would love to be able to visualise dynamically growing patches and metapopulations of plants.

Acceptance criteria

Given a simulation of individuals / patches / metapopulations, we can create

• snapshots of system
• animations of system
