Extra Action Button refuses to respect positioning

I have moved the Extra Action Buttons off to the side, but they occasionally appear centered near the bottom of the screen -- it seems to happen only when I receive some sort of toast alert, like completing a random dungeon or obtaining an achievement. (The extra action buttons move directly below the toasts on-screen.)

This occurs with nothing but Dominos and Dominos Config running.
