Bug is in all versions: mobile app on iphone and pixel phone, desktop app on mac and linux, website on mac, pixel phone, iphone and linux, and on multiple different networks in different parts of Australia. Thus not platform-specific or device-specific or network-specific; it's a problem in the tuta programming.
Say I'm searching for an email that I know is in my files, using a unique keyword that I know is in the email, tuta will take a WHOLE DAY OR MORE searching, during which time I can't use email, and at the end, usually says nothing found! As I use and need Search many, many times a day, this is enough to make me throw Tuta in the bin and get a different mail client...
Any suggestions anyone?

Have you given it enough time to index emails? What local cache limit have you set?

Hi @DianneCT , your frustration is understandable. Please know that search is on our radar, and we have an overhaul planned for the next couple of months, so stay tuned for that :)
