What happened?

The TrueNAS SCALE ISO image of 24.10.1 does not boot (same goes for 24.10.0.2). Seemingly because a kernel module (md / device-mapper) is missing, see:

When writing the TrueNAS SCALE ISO image of 24.10.1 to the USB drive with dd the ISO image boots successfully and I can install TrueNAS.
