QUESTION: A helpful feature might be to disable the drag and drop function to "lock down" the order of the various project docs in the left hand panel.

This would be especially useful as protection once the general project structure has been determined (or at least has settled down) such that the remaining task of actually writing the novel content itself takes center stage.

(I seem to be unintentionally moving component docs around within my project, not appreciating how easy it is to accidentally utilize this otherwise great feature of novelWriter.)

Initally a Q&A here: #2185

Thanks! I edited the title a little. I think this would be a useful feature to add, and I would add a way to make it recursive as well so you can lock whole chapters without having to select all scenes.

Awesome! And your title is certainly clearer than mine. 😎
