Configuration Sync seems to not do anything #556
Comments
Looks like I just had to give it some time, took about 20 minutes before it showed up, but my phone prompted me that "new configuration has arrived" which is oddly phrased but Im guessing it's translated, lol Overall, I dont quite understand the configuration sync UI. I'd like to have a way to select everything from the PC and sync it to my phone, namely especially plugins and their configs, uis, etc. It looks like I have to select each one one at a time to apply them, at which point I mind as well just add them manually. IDK, it's all very confusing and barely translated in that section. Additionally, I found it corrupted my database when I synced from it. I just want it to automatically sync plugins that are installed, lol |
Sorry for being late! |
Is Usher usable at the moment? I switched my devices over to it a few days ago and disabled the LiveSync Plugin's Configuration Sync (I assume that was necessary), but Usher doesn't see any changes from other devices, it also doesn't have the "Device Name" input. Do we keep the Self-Hosted LiveSync's configuration sync enabled? I'm just a little unclear on how these are integrating or if they're still in a build-out (not fully functional) phase. Thank you for all of your excellent hard work! |
I have configuration sync enabled on two devices. One is a PC one is mobile.
Files are syncing fine, but on my phone, config, including themes and plugins, are not syncing. They both have different names, but otherwise they are identical.
How can I get plugins to sync?
