Creating unknown type records is not supported currently, though we have an example for it.
This needs discussion (IIRC we once discussed it and decided not to support creating unknown records since it doesn't really have any use case.). But we need support for reading them.
We need either to support creation or justify non-support.

unknown makes sense for sub records where you know what you are doing and don't want to spend data on mime type etc. We should be able to create them
