Hmm. Normally if no display is detected, the app will attempt to reconnect all displays - except if it is explicitly disabled under Settings/Display/Overview/Connection management settings. There is a keyboard shortcut to connect all displays, but it is indeed not predefined. I wanted to add a general reset button - updated the relevant enhancement with this now: |

Another paid user here. I also ran into this issue multiple times, and I can almost reliably reproduce it. Writing down some preliminary thoughts here. I still need to do some more testing, but here are a few things I have observed:

Hello,
Paid user here.
I had a bug that caused me to lose all my work. So:
External monitor connected, disabled internal monitor via betterdisplay.
While sleeping: disconnected the external monitor and left home with the laptop.
Once resuming work: the external monitor was disabled and there was no way to reenable it (no keyboard option either, maybe there should be a panic button preassigned just for this situation... Had to force reboot)
