Description

It has been verified that the use of CLB in AWS is inefficient, so the use of NLB for load balancing is proposed in the deployment of Wazuh in EKS.

The main change lies in the modification of the services declared in the deployment, which allows the use of two LBs for load balancing in general:

• An NLB for handling internal cluster loads, especially for internal communication of Wazuh indexer and communication between services.
• An NLB with external output, where all API services, agent communication with Wazuh Server and publication of the Wazuh dashboard will point.

This deployment is more orderly than the previous deployment we carried out.

Tasks

• Modify the definition of the LB services of the deployment
• Add the dependency on the AWS Load Balancer Controller in the documentation
• Test the correct operation of the deployment
