Certificate issues on old devices (< ~Android 7): Problem adding cities or getting weather data #79

This is because a CA certificate from Let's Encrypt has expired and is no longer updated on old devices.

You need the latest certificate ISRG Root X1 from here.
https://letsencrypt.org/certificates/
Download the .pem

For Android it needs to be converted to .crt which e.g. can be done here.
http://www.realmb.com/droidCert/
Upload the .pem there and follow instructions.

Unfortunatley the suggested fix do not work on Android 7.
I installed the Let's Encrypt selfsigned certificate but you APP is still unusable, cannot add location or get any weather data.
That's a pity it was a good application... Uninstalled.

Solution worked fine on my Android 6.0

I confirm that the CA fix do not work on Android 7.0.
The same error if fired with the older APP RadarWeather.
BTW similar apps like BreezyWeather and QuickWeather have no problems...
