It&#8217;s also sort of a puzzle game, as you don&#8217;t gain levels in the traditional sense at all and it&#8217;s to your great advantage most times to learn how to avoid enemies instead of trying to plow your way through them. <info>I can&#8217;t believe I was just playing this for an hour! And I still have laundry to do. Bah! I always was a big fan of wargames though.. And by wargames, I mean Panzer General and Steel Panthers, and that&#8217;s about it. :) Well this here game doesn&#8217;t try to look pretty or anything, but it does the job. It&#8217;s pretty simple: issue your commands in the Map mode (hit Select), and then get out of Map mode and the game plays itself out. Your units do what they&#8217;re told every turn until the order&#8217;s carried out, and then they sit there. Get as many cities as you can, because then you get more money. Infantry kills heavy infantry, heavy infantry kills tanks, and tanks kill infantry. More or less, anyway. Dave&#8217;s done a pretty good job with the translation; quite a professional look to it. Or maybe it&#8217;s just me. Ah well, it&#8217;s fun. Oh, and if you get confused, Dave&#8217;s included a manual in the zip to help you out. YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE. Well, except for finding the rom and stuff.</info>

<info>Anyway, Celes did this because she needed a &#8220;break from big scripts&#8221; (can&#8217;t blame her, really), and churned it out in about four day&#8217;s time. And it&#8217;s 100% complete! So, if you like Hello Kitty, you should check it out!</info>

<description>Nettou The King of Fighters '96 (Japan) (SGB Enhanced)</description>
<info>This patch attempts to translate some of the &#8220;story&#8221; text between fights in this gameboy port of the Neo-Geo fighting game of the same name. The menus are englishized, as is much of the fighter&#8217;s dialogue (everyone but Mr. Karate and Kugura), which was taken from the Neo-Geo game. I don&#8217;t know whether some of the translated stuff is done on purpose or not, but in any case, it looks really bad. :P</info>

<info>So far, only the intro, and a goodly amount of the dialog from Hikaru&#8217;s scenario is translated. Sadly, the battle menus don&#8217;t appear to be done yet, and there&#8217;s a few inaccuracies in the translation as well as what appears to be direct katakana translations (i.e., Emeraude instead of Emerald). Either way, it&#8217;s enough to get you started.</info>
