hlsearch doesn't seem to be working. v2.0.13

Heyo! I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon 21.3 and I can't get hlsearch to work. After deep diving, I found that the version for apt is only at 2.0.9 and hlsearch wasn't added until 2.0.11. I removed micro via apt, and reinstalled via snap to get the latest version.

Everything else in my settings.json seems to be working. This is my first time messing with json, so I could be messing up somewhere.

It should work. Does micro -version say it is actually 2.0.13?

yeah I checked after install to make sure.

I think all the instances of help should be highlighted.

They are highlighted after you press Enter.

Although I've been already thinking lately about implementing highlighting them while typing. But there may be different opinions whether that is a desired behavior or not. I've personally never felt the need for that.

Given that you need to press enter anyway to get out of the find function, I think it's fine.

Strictly speaking, you can also press Esc instead, to cancel find.
