Summary

This is the initial release of the F5 Networks® agent for OpenStack LBaaSv2 services.

Release Highlights

Fixes the following issues:

  • #106 Fix System V startup to return correct status
  • #104 Default pool not set on virtual server when creating pool without name parameter bug
  • #99 Debian startup script fails
  • #97 Error creating snatpool

Caveats

The features supported in v8.0.2 are a subset of the Neutron LBaaSv2 API delivered in the OpenStack Liberty release.

Restrictions

The following restrictions apply:

  • The OpenStack LBaaSv2 listener commands do not yet support TERMINATED_HTTPS.
  • Load balancer statistics will be introduced in an upcoming release.
Unsupported Features

The following features are unsupported in v8.0.2; they will be introduced in future releases.

  • vCMP® (multi-tenancy)
  • Agent High Availability
  • BIG-IP® Device Service Clustering
