It was my final group project for Introduction to Data Science class at the University of Washington.
The dataset used in this project has been taken from Kaggle which was collected from WHO and United Nations (https://www.kaggle.com/kumarajarshi/life-expectancy-who)
We focused on performing the statistical analysis for evaluating the relationship between immunization coverage and life expectancy. To test our hypothesis, we conducted ANOVA Test. Also, we could analyze that the status of country (Developing and Developed) is related to the life expectancy; The mean age of individuals residing in developed countries is higher than that of developing countries.
Initially we set target variable as Status of Country and performed Logistic Regression, later we changed the project objective, set life expectancy as target variable, and performed Decision Tree regression & Linear regression both to predict life expectancy. Though the accuracy of both the models were almost same.
