Mouselogger Installation Guide

Windows

Download the latest Mouselogger.exe from the release page.

  1. Open the Mouselogger.exe-File
  2. Then there will come a warning (picture below), click on "More info" and then "Run anyway"

Add to autostart

  1. Press Windows Key + R
  2. Type shell:startup in the popup window (first image below)
  3. Right Click > New > Shortcut (as in the second image below)
  4. Browse to the place, where mouselogger is installed (third image).

MacOS

Install the latest Mouselogger-Apple.dmg from the release page.

  1. Open the DMG-File
  2. Move Mouselogger in the Applications Folder
  3. Start Mouselogger
  4. Enable Mouselogger to log your trackpad input
    • Open Settings
    • Go to Security and Privacy
    • Open the Privacy-Tab
    • Scroll down to Input-Monitoring
    • Click on the lock and unlock it
    • Tik the checkbox for mouselogger

Add to Autostart

When right-clicking on the icon in the dock, select Options > start at login (seen in the image below).

Arch Linux

In the special case of arch linux, there is an AUR Package.

yay -S mouselogger-git

Gnome Autostart

In the case of gnome open gnome-tweaks, direct to Startup Applications, hit the + and search for Mouselogger. Next add this to the autostart list.
