Am I seeing wrong but is this actually from EU open beta? Check the dates, way past US release lmao.
The pictures are from patch 1.2.x.

Not from the actual beta.

But there are pictures from the demons spawned during the end of the beta?

Same thing happend at end of EU beta.

You can see the dates the screenshots were taken at by looking at the filenames.
For example, WoWScrnShot_020705_175815.jpg implies that it was taken February 7, 2005.

But EU beta is still a beta, no?

We are talking about a beta from 3 months after release.

With that thinking, patch 1.3.3 to 1.4.3 Chinese open beta should be regarded as beta, even if they clearly were on a release version of the game. Taiwan didn't launch until 1.6.1, does that mean every beta build they had before 1.6.1 should be regarded as beta?

I think you get the point, a beta to test localization for a released product, should not be regarded as beta.

I understand both sides. In my opinion, we should only consider as pre-release versions of World of Warcraft patches below 1.1.0. However, as @ratkosrb said, these screenshots contain visual data from a beta event, thus should be preserved on this repository. Maybe it would be a better idea to create a folder specifically meant for screenshots of the EU beta that are relevant (maybe inside Miscellaneous).

What do you think?
