Generalization

The code generalizes to any shape-based puzzles on grids of 8x8 or smaler.

City puzzle

City puzzle is a puzzle where you need to put city blocks of pre-defined shapes into a grid. A chosen grid cell is occupied by a light post. Here the city blocks have the roofs and cannot be flipped.

If this link is not pointing to the produser of the original puzzle, please suggest a correction.

The script for solving a city puzzle generate_single_city.py is a demostration of such an adaptation.

To find solution use the 0-indexed coordinates of the lightpost as inputs:

python generate_single.py 0 0

Where can I get this puzzle?
