The jwt package was still using the github.com/golang-jwt/jwt package on v3 level which is not updated for more than three years. I am updating to v5. I read through the migration guide of that library (https://github.com/golang-jwt/jwt/blob/main/MIGRATION_GUIDE.md) and think that there is nothing that requires code adjustments in that jwt.go file.
