After this PR lands, you might need to update your version of Node to
the latest LTS or newer.

Please let me know if you have any other issues running the site after
this lands. Thanks!
This is the second of two large PRs that add architecture guidance to
the website.

The code snippets are from [compass app in
flutter/samples](https://github.com/flutter/samples/tree/main/compass_app).
It was been thoroughly reviewed.

Resolves third task from #11374
Fixes #11432

…ng (#11459)

No longer require `match-url-exactly: true` to be specified if an entry
has the same permalink as the collapsible section it is a child of.
These changes and minor improvements will make the site redesign easier
to review and land.
The included content happened a while ago. We can reenable the banner

…ault value change. (#11461)

The deep link flag default value is changed in
flutter/engine#52350, and the PR is included
Flutter 3.27 stable release.

The Deep link docs should be updated to reflect the changes:
1. If you are using flutter deep link handlers, you don't need to
manually set the flutter_deeplinking_enabled flag to true anymore.
3. If you use third-party plug-ins to handle deep links, you need to
manually set the flutter_deeplinking_enabled flag to `false`

Use a [pub workspace](https://dart.dev/to/pub-workspaces) for the repo's
tooling and another for the examples that excerpts are pulled from.

Using a shared workspace, particularly for the examples, improves the
excerpt contribution experience and reduces the entire analysis time by
a few minutes.
If you installed your version of `node` before November, you might need
to update to the latest LTS or newer after this lands.

So the site now requires:

- Flutter 3.27 (Dart 3.6) or later
- Node 22.11 or later
- pnpm 9.12.3 or later

directories newly created in previous steps.

… (#11507)

@chinmaygarde, can you take a look? I've added the "Can I use Impeller"
page. The website impeller page needs further work, but this is a
start...
…(#11510)

Documents the feature long-ago implemented by
flutter/flutter#144958.

**Summary**: this documents that asset-transforming Dart packages can
read `FLUTTER_BUILD_MODE` from the environment to determine what mode
the app is being built in. This also tries to fix what I think was a
typo in the original docs.

If you are curious about what asset transformation is, read [Assets and
Images
(flutter.dev)](https://docs.flutter.dev/ui/assets/assets-and-images) to
learn how to bundle assets (arbitrary files, such as images) into your
app and then read [Asset transformation
(flutter.dev)](https://docs.flutter.dev/ui/assets/asset-transformation).

The shader compilation jank guide was out of date and needed a few
updates:

* Impeller is now the default graphics renderer for mobile devices.
Updated wording to shift the focus around how we talk about Impeller and
Skia.
* Removed integration test steps.
* Added a list of important considerations to capture potential issues
that might come up when using cache-sksl.
* Completed a light refactor (guide's a bit old and needed a fresh up).

Fixes #6504
Closes #6415
Closes flutter/flutter#160595.

The latter never existed.

Side-note: We should never have _negative_ flags (they are confusing to
parse).
