I will soon be releasing a new update for my installer and will also receive support from new contacts from the Technical University of Dresden in terms of providing licenses so that I can then carry out more tests for you myself. 🔬🔭🛠

Create a new Setup Wizard for Solidworks (development-branch)

I am currently working on a new setup wizard for Solidworks on Linux! 🚧

The installation works now!

With the help from the user @Dyllan2000alfa we have solved the problem with the installation (VBA 7.1)!

Install Solidworks into a VM

I will now install SOLIDWORKS in a VM to explore the problem with the dependencies more precisely.

Second installation attempt failed

In this test I tried to install the components of SOLIDWORKS individually. But without success!!!

Installation of SOLIDWORKS on Linux

It's now possible to install SOLIDWORKS on Linux, but it hangs up during the process!!!
