Note we have changed the package name to "symbolic" on Octave, and it should soon be available on Octave Forge. Thus, Octave users can now install with pkg install -forge symbolic (from within Octave, no need to download anything here). You will need Python and SymPy installed: Windows users might still want to try the "bundle" package which includes these dependencies.
