This is a Kepler.GL visualization of major international earthquakes that has two layers. The first layer shows the deaths and injuries, while the second layer describes the magnitude and depth of the earthquake.
The Nationl Centers for Environmental Information data base contains information on earthquakes from 2150 B.C. to the present day. These earthquakes have one of the following characteristics: approximately $1 million or more damage, 10+ deaths, magnitudes of at least 7.5, modified mercalli intensity X or greater, or the earthquake generated a tsunami.
