Usage

  • In the left panel, select the MIDI files that you want to map by dragging and dropping or clicking the "Select MIDI Files" button.
  • In the right panel, specify your mappings. The default text provides an example of the syntax to use.
    • If you already have a mapping file that you want to use, you can import it by dragging and dropping or clicking the "Import Mapping File" button.
  • In the right panel, select the lowest octave used in your MIDI file. This varies depending on the program you used to create the file, but it will usually be -1 or -2 (for example, Studio One's lowest octave is -2).
    • If you're using a DAW, you can easily find this by looking at the piano roll.
  • Click "Map It!". Once the mapping is done, a zip file will be downloaded containing your mapped MIDI files and a text file with your mapping, which you can save for future use.
