This is way too much text overall, and way too much text on each slide, and not enough pictures. There should be at least four slides in this section. Think Apple product launch, not corporate slide deck. Each slide should either have :

• What is GCN, what it's enabled
  • We need a colorful anecdote here about pagers etc. The anecdote doesn't necessarily need to be on the slide in text; it could be in speaker notes.
  • What was the event that spurred the creation of GCN?
  • What was the biggest breakthrough in GRB science that GCN made?
• What has changed in the scientific landscape
  • Multimessenger and time-domain
  • Picture of GW170817?
• What has changed in the technology landscape: we must mention Rubin here. Include a picture of Rubin!
• What are the high-level changes we needed to make?
  • This is the one slide that could be merely a list of bullets.
