This bot is a rewrite in NodeJS of the original Discord's Airhornbot. It has almost all sounds from the original bot, with some new feature added and more coming soon. Check it out!
- Clone the repo :
git clone https://github.com/noisemaster/airhornbot - Move into it :
cd airhornbot - Install it with
npm install - Create your Discord Application here
- Make it a bot by going to "Bot", then "Add bot"
- Rename the
config.example.jsontoconfig.json. - Copy your bot's token and paste it in the
config.jsonfile. - Invite your bot to your server by going to "OAuth2", select "bot" and give it permissions to : View channels, Send messages, Connect and Speak. You must be administrator on the server you want to add the bot to.
- Install screen to run the bot in the background :
sudo apt install screen -y - Then, do
screen npm run startand you're done! - To leave the Screen, do
CTRL + A D
To get a list of all commands directly on Discord, type !help. To get a specific help on a command and to see the commands needed to play a sound directly, type !help {name on the left}.
