Challenge 4: “Swedish Labour Culture”

Background

Before actually getting an employment in Sweden theres underlying issues and barriers that needs to solved. One of these barriers lies within language and culture. When we don’t understand the language it’s hard to learn about the culture. When it’s hard to learn about the culture it’s hard to build a social network, find a job and learn about the real possibilities that lies within Sweden.

In order to help newly arrived establish themselves in Sweden we need to rethink the ways we interact, live and develop together.

Building networks can help people who come newly to Sweden to learn the Swedish values, the Swedish work tradition, ethics, rights and obligation. Having people with same interest can also increase their comfort and their moral health, it opens to opportunities that the can not have otherwise. That is why is it is crucial to address this fast.
