I don't know how to comment on Git. Just wanted to say that your description page has some minor issues in it: The examples you use lack the /usb-part of the path. Apart from that, I am thankfull for this program which I now use with my two 24" ACDs on a Shuttle Barebone with Lubuntu.
Great programning! BTW, just to confirm, what the other commenter above pointed out, my device was at /dev/usb/hiddev1, not /dev/hiddev1. Your mileage may vary.
This is really useful - One addition suggest as I could not see an issue tracker. Currently if you increase brightness above 255 it looks round back to very dim. I think a tweek to line 234 might address this.
